Clubs & resorts stay connected, share ideas, explore solutions and work together…

Committee representatives from clubs and resorts around the U.K and the rest of Europe have come together recently on a series of conference calls organised by EUROC to allow an opportunity for timeshare clubs of all sizes from a variety of locations to stay connected, discuss common issues and share good practice with each other especially throughout the current Coronavirus crisis.

With no set agenda for the calls, it was a great opportunity for all in attendance to have access to an open forum whereby they could ask each other questions, share ideas and experiences on specific issues relating to their clubs and timeshare owners.

Updates were provided by Chris Emmins from Kwikchex about the current status of the enforcement programme and also to share his thoughts and advice about the increased activity taking place from fraudulent operators who are targeting concerned timeshare owners during the Coronavirus crisis. Chris stressed the importance of communicating with timeshare owners to ensure they are more aware and do not fall victim to such activity.

From discussions on business rates, exchanging weeks, insurance, owner communications to the importance of being ready to re-open when the restrictions have been lifted; it was clear to all that collectively, clubs and resorts find themselves facing similar issues and challenges so by coming together on a regular basis and building a strong network will, over time ensure that everyone works together and is singing from the same song sheet…

Our next club and resort call will be held soon and is open to all EUROC members and non-members, invitations will follow in due course.
